Pottery and woodworking industries are thriving in Asahikawa.
There are over 100 large and small workshops and factory.
“Crafts”refer specifically to crafts made by hand.
It even refers to works that have undergone machine processing
afterwards as long as it retains the texture and sense of being
handmade.
The Asahikawa Crafts Map is for those wondering “I'd like to
check out these works but, where can I find them?” or,
“I'd like to check out a smaller workshop or that isn't
in the guidebook.”
